Assheton Gorton is an award-winning Production Designer, whose career has spanned over 30 years. He earned two Academy Award nominations for his work on the films 'The French Lieutenant's Woman', and 'Blow Up'. In addition, 'Blow Up', as well as his first feature film, 'The Knack', both brought him a Golden Palm Award from the Cannes Film Festival. He was also nominated for a BAFTA Award for designing over 60 episodes of 'Armchair Theatre' for ABC Television, and he won a Gold Lion at Cannes for his commercial work for Continental Airways. His additional film credits include; Mark Rydell's 'For The Boys', Ridley Scott's 'Legend', Hugh Hudson's 'Lost Angels' and 'Revolution, Jacques Demy's 'Pied Piper', Richard Lester's 'The Bed Sitting Room', and Joseph McGrath's 'The Magician'. He also lent his talents to the accliamed television mini-series 'The Martian Chronicles'.

His more recent work has been for Disney's 101 and 102 Dalmations & Robroy.
