Here
the model bird is superimposed on a composite scene using Photoshop, scanned
and collaged photos and scenic art techniques. Pencil layers were overlaid
for detail, and the colour values were balanced with the model and background.
Further
realism was defined by detailed by painting and shading; and light and contrast
adjustments. The model and the background were composited to appear lit from
the same overcast light source.
